Susan Deliss’s first wallpaper collection is called "Maribor”, which has been inspired by a combination of early 20th century embroideries and a group of antique weaves in Susan’s collection. In keeping with the high quality craftsmanship of these textiles, Susan has worked with highly specialist printers in England to have the wallpaper printed by hand using specially made blocks.
Each colour is mixed by hand and each roll is prepared and then painted by hand with the base colour and then block printed in its entirety with one colour, then dried on hand made wooden racks, then printed with the next of the 3 colours
in this design and so on. A labour of skill and love.
