Rhombus was inspired by an Uzbek block print on cotton harvested and woven in the harsh conditions of Central Asia. All done by hand. For Susan Deliss, this original textile had some of the qualities that she found in the 28th century French textiles that she loved that inspired the other prints in this Avignon collection - Wildflower and Medlar. All had a combination of a completely harmonious use of technique and local materials, created by someone with real manual skill and an original eye.
Rhombus is printed in England using the best contemporary craftsmanship, combined with a commitment to protecting our precious environment.
