This is a really stunning hand woven and embroidered antique panel from the Punjab in India.  Comprised of three coarsely woven cotton panels, dyed a really wonderful colour that has faded in places with time and wear. Some of the hand embroidery has worn away, leaving traces of the pattern, in the most beautiful way.  
 
This would be best used by being mounted and or framed and displayed on a wall.  It can be hung landscape or portrait.
