Perfectly precise and immaculate late 18th century craftsmanship and exquisite dyeing from south-eastern France is the basis of this design, Medlar. Working with fragments of cloth, perhaps ironically - and certainly serendipitously - that I found in England, I have rescaled, reworked and recoloured a tiny antique print to create this design.  I have named the collection to which these prints belong Avignon, after the town in the South of France that has provided me with much creative inspiration and joy.  Medlar has been printed in England using the best contemporary craftsmanship, combined with a commitment to protecting our precious environment.
 
Medlar is a really good weight for upholstery, fabric walling and curtains. Medlar comes in four colours - Moss, Teal, Raspberry and Chestnut.
