Susan's print, Salina, is inspired by one of Susan's all-time favourite books, The Leopard by Giuseppe Tomasi de Lampedusa. The main character is the Principe de Salina, one of the seven enchanting Aeolian islands in the sea off Sicily. The colours of Susan's new print, white, blue and green, are reminiscent of the colours of the magical sea and sky around the island of Salina.
 
This original design by Susan has been skilfully block-printed by hand.
