An Old Master painting of the Roman myth of Vertumnus and Pomona in Susan Deliss’s home and an antique Italian velvet inspired her beautiful new Pomona weave. The Roman myth had themes of nature, triumph over adversity and young love, from which Susan has drawn the idea for this lovely collection of richly jewel-toned weaves.

Pomona comes in five colourways, all playful but highly usable. Soft in texture, it is robust at 28,000 rubs, without Susan resorting to synthetic yarns needed to turn it into a performance fabric. This elegant and versatile all-over pattern fabric is suitable for sofas, bedheads, other upholstery, cushions and thick curtains.
