Spectacular large 19th century hand painted papier-mâché tray.  This has faux tortoiseshell and faux malachite and is really striking.  You could hang it on a wall (Susan Deliss has seen this done with a collection of black lacquer trays in a palace in Southern Spain and they looked amazing) or put it on a footstool.
