Highly decorative, this US flag was made in Chablis in France during the 1930's for a procession. It was then folded away in the local priest's house and survived the 2nd World War and Nazi occupation of France.  It was finally rediscovered a few years ago when the priest died.  His house was cleared and Susan Deliss bought this flag as a testament to survival and a sense of history, both of which are themes for the USA itself.

It has been beautifully mounted and reframed in a dark wooden frame.
